Shipping Policy


Order Processing:
All orders are processed within 3-5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays), after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped, which will include a tracking number. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

Your order may encounter shipping delays from Canada Post.  Due to high shipping volume or special weather conditions, please allow for an extra 2-3 business days after your estimated delivery date before contacting us and we will look into it for you.

Local delivery and curbside pickup:

Save on shipping! Free local delivery is available within a 10km radius.  

Deliveries are made from Mondays to Fridays. We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival. 

Curbside pickup (free):

Simply select local pickup at checkout. For in stock items, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 3-5 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.

International Shipping

At this time, we only ship to Canada and the United States.
If you are outside of these countries, please email us to inquire about shipping costs!

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Maddox & Ave is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

Stock and made to order:

Most home decor items are in stock. Items that are listed as a custom order or “made to order” are not in stock.  These items are ordered specifically for you based on your selection (colour, size, finish, number of items required). Please verify this at check-out, as processing times are listed under these items.  These items include lighting fixtures, rugs, and any customized items.  Feel free to send us an email to check processing time and stock at


Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused,  and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. These include custom ordered products, such as special orders, custom lighting orders, or personalized items. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. All sale items are final sale.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item!

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
